The vision for Tamsey started when travelling across rural areas of Emerging Countries and coming to the shocking realisation that millions of intelligent and resourceful people were completely disconnected from financial services.
More importantly, many families with relatives in urban areas or abroad found it extremely difficult to get in touch with their relatives or even receive money from them. Having experienced first-hand the difficulty and heavy costs involved in sending money abroad, we embarked on a mission to develop Tamsey (which means “Together”), in order to keep people connected by providing cheaper, efficient and secured alternative financial solutions.
